From Rush-Hour to Wilderness in Fifteen Minutes? |
|
It's easy for those in the Washington D.C. area! No need to drive long distances to experience fun on the water. For the past 15 years Canoeing Adventures has introduced thousands of people to the art of river canoeing, on the near by Potomac river. Where the trail ends, the adventure begins!
By combining our 15 years of whitewater and wilderness experience with American Canoe Association (ACA) instructional guidelines, we quickly get you canoeing in an efficient manner, using our step-by-step learning process. Our full-time endeavor is teaching whitewater canoeing, and we feel we are the best in the area. We're not spread thin by trying to teach rock climbing, kayaking or other sports. We are the only canoeing school in this area that uses canoes specially outfitted for whitewater instruction. We're fortunate to have the scenic and historic Potomac River so close by. It's our river of choice. Under professional supervision, the Potomac is an appropriate river for your instruction. The rivers' waters are warm enough for canoeing from late April through the end of October. The river is never too low for canoeing! Please explore our site to find the kind of experience you wish to have while canoeing the great waters of the Washington DC area! |
